Tray of the Week, No. 2

A loose assortment of what I downloaded, returned, wore, questioned, and got mauled by this week. Like a mixed plate of digital spirals and emotional support trackpants. Dig in.

📱 App I tried (and instantly un-tried):

Coinbase. Channelling my inner crypto-bro, I downloaded Coinbase only to find it wouldn’t let me create an account because I’m a Kiwi without an Australian passport (yet), so I deleted the app out of spite. Will revisit when I’m legally allowed to have a midlife investing crisis. (FYI I sit my Australian Citizenship test next month… WATCH OUT, COINBASE!).

😾 Item I touched that touched back (violently):

A cat. Not mine. Not even one I know. Just a rogue Sydney feline who decided my hand was its emotional outlet.

👖 Pants I can’t shut up about:

Adidas Firebird Trackpants. Picked these up with a store credit from returning a faulty pair of shoes. Perfect for chilly morning walks as they’re surprisingly warm. The baggy, flowy vibe is perfs. Hot tip; they look pretty cool with loafers.

🖥 Tab I have no business being in:

“Can you transfer your Australian super to your KiwiSaver and withdraw it for a first home loan?”. This isn’t a cry for help. This is a whale call for help.

😱 Micro-spiral:

I have two weeks left of my work contract and no job lined up.
That’s it. That’s the spiral.
